I feel as if this is the B crew of Age of Empires trying to make a lack luster game come together. It’s long, boring, and way too drawn out for no purpose. The music was something of middle school kids trying to play classical composers, totally synth cheese. The graphics were something straight out of Age of Empires I in 98, obvious pixilation. I just am seriously pissed I wasted $45 bucks on this game today and threw it on the wall in protest. The economy sucks to bad for crappy products to keep being released.

I just got this game and installed it on my vista computer just to have it not put the individual game icons on my desktop and it did not put a game folder in the programs folder. Basically the manual in the box says I should be able to play all four games by putting in the disk and double clicking on which ever game icon (which should be on my desktop, but it is not) I wanted to play. But all I was able to do was play Civ 4 Colonization when the auto played after I put the disk in the drive. I have already tried reinstalling it and many other things and have not gotten it to work. So buyer beware.

terrible game and the extra 3 games that came with the complete edition even were worse. putting limits on how long you can play the game stinks just like civilization 3 did. graphics are great but you can win the game in less than a day. there was no big deal on winning the space race, even that stunk.

This game was a waste of time. After playing the Age of Empire series I thought I would give this series a chance. I found it to be laborious, tedious and a total waste of my time. Every time you want to move an individual or group you are limited in the distance you can travel. Only so many steps per turn. Turns?? Who wants turns. I want to be able to move and attack simultaneously with enemy combantants.
The graphics were primative compared to other games I have played. The individuals were so small you could barely see what was happening.
I say save your money and buy the Age of Empire series, if you haven’t already, and see what a great game looks like.

Land of Software Bugs… Civ4 barely has any support. And you can assume you are testing it because they did not. I like the game but hate the support. For me it’s too much pain verse any fun. I advise you find better.
