The only reason I bought the newer version was in the hope that the gaming logic had improved – specifically in tournaments. The old game always got stuck in rampant and runaway “raises” with no basis in reality. I was hoping this had been corrected, but no such luck. It’s still just as bad as it was in 2004.
There is an achievement system in place that rewards you with additional Hoyle bucks if you meet certain conditions during the games. The rewards will vary depending if you’re playing a single player game or an online game (called VIP REWARDS for the online section). Finally a trophy case lets you show off all of the goodies you’ve bought with your Hoyle reward points.
In particular I like the stuff and it is good to take a subscription on it. I am having fond to have it soon.
